The Wind Song Collections offers several options to meet your privacy and sun control needs. While woven shades provide a good deal of privacy during the day, at night the open weaves are not completely private. If you need complete privacy or blackout control ability, there are several options for you to consider. They allow you to specify light transmittance, privacy, and control needed for your home. We offer a variety of densities and colors that you can choose from.
Unlined
Our standard natural woven shades come unlined and gently filter the light, preserving most of the outside view.
Polyester Lining
A thinner, almost sheer lining option that gives the woven shade just enough coverage to create privacy still allowing most natural light to filter through. This lining is not a good option if direct sun is an issue, and you are trying to cut out bright sun rays or heat.
Poly Cotton Lining
This is our most popular lining option, and is selected by clients that are wanting to create total privacy, filter direct sun rays, but don’t want to close out all natural light when the shades are closed.
Blackout Lining
Ideal for media rooms, bedrooms, or areas where complete sun control is desired. This option blocks almost all light coming through. *Not available for Vanilla & Paperwhite colors.
Lining Options
*On all lined shades, the lining edges are surged and attached to the back of the shade along the edges. Rings are then hand sewn completely through the lining and woven fibers.
