Natural grasses are harvested, stripped, hand tied, then woven by hand on century old weaving looms creating a material that is beautiful as well as durable with proper usage. The outdoor shades can be motorized (hard wire) or battery operated (up to 10 lbs).
The following video shows the Villa Collection shades withstanding 20mph wind gusts. Although the material can withstand wind, we recommend the shade be pulled up during wind gusts and rain. The material makes an excellent wind block up to 12 mph.
